Special Educational Needs
We are committed to providing a caring, supportive and enjoyable environment for each individual within the school community, ensuring equal opportunity for all, regardless of age, ethnic origin, gender, sexuality, disability or economic disadvantage.
We manage classes in a way that promotes a positive, supportive and secure environment based on a sense of community and shared values, in which self-discipline, controlled behaviour and mutual respect are sustained by sound relationships between staff, students and parents.
The Governing Body is responsible for ensuring that the school complies with all legislation, but in particular that relating to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Act 2001 and the Race Relations (Amendments) Act 2000 and works with the Headteacher to ensure that all policies, related procedures and strategies are successfully implemented.
